During the week of November 29th until December 2nd, the artwork Nose, Ears Eyes, on the second floor of the #32bienal hosts MUDvibes, a master course for art and design students from Finland, Russia, Belgium, and Brazil, coordinated by Pia Lindman. The audience is invited to participate in the experiments conducted by the group on Thursday, December 1st, from 4 pm to 10 pm.

Perception and Color, with Lita Poliakova and Barbara Estrella

In this experiment the research team will approach visitors of the #32bienal and ask them to mark the color they associate with based on where they were born.

Breathing as Sensing Space, with Pauliina Jokela and Roberta Assy

How does breathing make us feel connected? The team introduces audience members to breathing methods that help them find their natural rhythm of breathing. We find three different rhythms, unique to three different spaces.

Haptic communication, with Salla Keskinen, Cecilia Rotenberg, and Flora Tzanno

These experiments ask the following questions: "Can you see with your hands?", "How to get to know the other by touching?", "Can our touch communicate our feelings?"

Interspecies Communication, with Anna Korotkova and Julia Ganotis

This research team aims to highten the test persons’ sensory reception of their surroundings, and invites to explore new ways of communicating with trees.
